BIOMEDevice The Master Class Start-Up Series will once again be led by professionals to help businesses expand and navigate the shifting Medtech investment marketplace. Boston is the premier event on the east coast showcasing cutting-edge engineers, innovative thinkers, and business leaders who influence the development of the multi-trillion-dollar biomedical market.

The event this year, which is slated for September 28–29 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, will include a revised and expanded program for early-stage companies aiming to expand their enterprises and initiatives in the MedTech investment sector. New Medtech and digital health start-ups emerged more quickly as a result of the epidemic and attracted significant venture capital funding.

The Master Class Start-Up Series is available to all registered attendees of BIOMEDevice Boston and offers carefully curated content designed to offer insights on navigating the constantly shifting Medtech investment landscape, what it takes to develop in line with these trends, and how to get a behind-the-scenes look at various funding vehicles, from strategic to venture capital and everything in between.

“Medtech and the biomedical markets are witnessing tremendous upheaval as new and highly advanced technologies focus on prevention, wellness, diagnosis, and detection to fulfill unmet needs more inexpensively,” says Adrienne Zepeda, Group Event Director of BIOMEDevice Boston. “As more and more entrepreneurs enter this market to provide new ideas and inventive advancements, there is increased competition and difficulties in obtaining funding.”

Zepeda continued: “In order to address this, we worked with MassMEDIC to create a curriculum that would offer MedTech firm owners useful guidance on how to handle finance and investments, from the sales presentation to debt financing. Additionally, it’s a terrific opportunity to network with like-minded business owners who have achieved success in the Medtech industry and gain knowledge from the achievements of your peers.”

MassMEDIC provides to this program its unique expertise and experience in educating, networking, spreading awareness, and advocating for the medical device ecosystem. The MedTech community is supported as it navigates the contemporary healthcare environment by MassMEDIC, a network with over 300 members including manufacturers, suppliers, product developers, university health institutions, and research groups.
