Medtech provides assistance to rural Victoria’s medical professionals.

Regional Victoria is now included in the University of Melbourne’s acceleration program, which helps doctors and hospital partners launch early-stage enterprises.

Regional health network Bendigo Health will cooperate with the program’s 12-month delivery timeframe. It aspires to include local healthcare experts in developing their ideas into medical technology solutions that are advantageous to patients and providers.

According to a press release, the effort will let doctors connect with a community of innovators, engineers, and producers to collaborate on the creation of cutting-edge medical technology solutions, especially those that enable remote patient monitoring and care at home.

The $260,000 collaboration is supported by the Victorian Government through the Australian Medtech Manufacturing Center.

Gisborne’s pharmacy operations will be managed by RxOne from HealthSoft.
