Nihar Parikh of 4point0 Health Ventures, 9 Unicorns, Sriram Natarajan of Molbio, and Venture Catalysts were other participants in this round.
The Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund has pledged to invest $250 million in start-ups in the agricultural, healthcare, and SMB sectors by the year 2021. (small and medium companies).
The extra funds will be used to increase both Diabefly’s and Fitterfly’s digital therapies and clinically proven programs to prevent, manage, and reverse diabetes.
Kanwaljit Singh, the founder and managing partner of Fireside Ventures, which co-led the funding, claimed that the integration of technology and patient-centered care is urgently required and will enhance outcomes in the battle against chronic diseases.
