According to the newest hype in the technology sector, Android 13 may have a feature that allows you to select a different language for each app you use. Google is working on this new app functionality, which might be introduced alongside Android 13. The code name for this feature is “Panlingual,” and it will allow consumers to select their preferred language, including the local language, for an app apart from the system-wide option. For example, if the phone system supports English, a user can choose French for its social networking apps.
This is currently in the beta stage, and the specifics of how the functionality will operate remain unknown. As the work progresses, there may be adjustments. According to reports, Google will add a new “App language” choice to the existing “language and input” page. Users will also be able to access the settings via the “App details” screen.
Google intends to enable users to modify the app’s preferred language selection from a single spot on their phone. This will save users time from having to adjust the language settings in each app separately. Users who want to change their language should be able to do so using applications that support different languages. If an app only supports one language, this functionality will be ineffective. Google is said to have included an inline translation in Android 12. Even if the app creators do not add other languages in the future, Android applications can translate on their own.
The system settings are currently in the default language, and all Android apps utilize the same. If the app supports more than one language, the user must select the language manually; however, with panlingual Google, this annoyance for Android users will be eliminated. While the Android 13 upgrade isn’t planned until September 2022, the first developer preview is due before the end of the first quarter.
